The forum has been kind of slow the past few weeks so............
We have a DIPA that will be bottled next Monday as well as a "Hop Deity" type brew (we hope it's not too bitter at 160 something IBUs, but it is fun experimenting). This past Monday we brewed a braggot based on a stout with wildflower honey. We'll be bringing a braggot to the April meeting since that will be its first birthday, with at least another couple more to come to pass. We also plan to brew the Dark American Wheat again the week after that. Has anyone out there got anything going on? |

been kinda slow for me lately...replacing floor in my house and doing most of the work myself...however, I did keg a sparkling wine today and have ingredients for a Witbier....plan to brew soon...after that I think I'm going to get back to IPA mode again....would like to tweak an IPA recipe ie more hops! or perhaps try one of the new hops offered by rebelbrewer. Still planning a Saison in March. _________________ For mad scientists who keep brains in jars, here's a tip: why not add
a slice of lemon to each jar, for freshness?

I have everything I need to make a 10 gallon batch of BBQ in a Bottle (Smoked Maerzen). It is a difficult mash and I really could do to make my heat stick first, but the decoction/hot addition method worked great last time. I also need to make another Bulldozer, but I am totally out of base grain at the moment. Anyone want to split a sack of 2-row? _________________ On tap at the AckBar:

No brewing beer for me lately, just moving and drinking beer! I've got some more unpacking to do at work, but hopefully after that I can get some brewing in. _________________ Geoff |

| Just brewed two batches yesterday with Jeremy. We both made the Arrogant Bastard clone from the Jamil show but we each made it our own way, the fly vs. batch sparge battle. We used the same grain bill and ingredients, water, boil time, and hit the same mash temp. Afterward, I brewed a dry stout. Plan on making a 100% Munich malt lager as soon as my winter lager is in the keg. |

I finally brewed yesterday! First time in 3 months for me. I made 10 gallons of IPA and split the batch with Thames Valley yeast and US-05 on the other carboy. Should be nice! _________________ Geoff |

I squeezed another brew in yesterday and made an India Brown Ale. I also split the batch with Thames Valley yeast and US-05. I can't wait to taste it! I've been craving really strong hoppy beer lately and my last two batches should sasify me for a while . _________________ Geoff |

I am doing a dunkelweizen on Saturday from scratch. This is my first foray from beer ingrediants in a box.
I will also be kegging this batch. Got all the stuff for kegging from Rebels. Real cool cats there. _________________ JBrew Beer |
